In the Portland, Maine area on a warm Wednesday evening? Come visit Portland Pug Night on the Eastern Promenade! This great group of pug owners was the inspiration for the Pugusta Club, and you're likely to see upwards of 30 pugs running up and down the hill! The group is organized by the owners of Fetch, an awesome pet store in the Old Port.
Meetings start at 6 pm during the summer, and 5:30 pm when the sun starts setting earlier in the fall (call the store to check on the time change at 773-5450). The last meeting is usually the Wednesday before Halloween so the pugs can come in costume (of course). We look forward to seeing you!

DIRECTIONS TO THE EASTERN PROMENADE
From 295, take the Franklin Street exit, and follow traffic. You will be deposited onto Franklin Arterial going in the right direction. At about your 4th light, take a left onto Congress Street. Continue east on Congress until it ends, about a half mile. Turn right onto the Eastern Prom, make your first left onto Cutter Street, and park as soon as you can on Cutter. We meet on the grassy slope below Cutter.
Please note: The meeting area isn’t fenced in, so please keep an eye on your pug(s)! Also, please leave treats in the car (so the pugs can focus on playing and to minimize fighting), but do bring poop bags and water, and a blanket if you’d like to sit on something.
